Kids 10 and Under:

It is our goal at Love All Tennis to introduce young players to the sport of tennis in a fun and engaging environment by building a strong foundation. We strive to help your child build confidence and excitement on the tennis court for years to come. 

There are three kinds of low-compression balls that players should use when beginning to play. This includes red, orange, and green tennis balls prior to using a traditional yellow ball. These are all softer and bounce lower to the ground. We focus on using red tennis balls and sometimes orange balls depending on development, as well as smaller nets during our tennis lessons. 

Red Ball Tennis Session: Ages 4-8

Dates: February 23rd-April 27th, minus spring break (March 9-16)

We are currently offering a spring red ball tennis session. Our 8 week program has been created for a variety of players in mind. We have a total of 16 players working with 4 coaches during a weekly 50 minute tennis lesson. We begin with warm up activities followed by small group instruction and a fun game at the end of each lesson. Below are some of the skills we will be working on.

• Groundstrokes (forehand and backhand)
• Volleys
• Footwork
• Service motion
• Hand-eye coordination
• Gross motor skills
• Patience
• Teamwork
• Consistency 

Our goal at this level is for players to learn how to use proper technique and build confidence while learning how to hit the ball over the net, and ultimately start a rally by hitting the ball back and forth over the net with a partner. We play a lot of fun teamwork and individually based games to build these skills over time. It's all about having fun at this age, working hard, and trying your best!
